We’ve been hard at work over the past few weeks, rolling out new features to make you more productive with Deplyr. This is the first of many changelog updates, and we’re excited to share four major additions with you.

1. App Versioning

We’ve introduced app versioning, ensuring that every time you save your app, its edit history is preserved. Here’s what that means for you:

  • You can revert to any previous version of your app at any time.
  • You can choose which version to publish as your “production” version.
  • You can work on updates without affecting your users—they will continue using the published version until you decide to push changes live.
  • If you’re using AI to build your app, versioning acts as a safeguard—if something breaks, you can roll back to a working version instantly.

2. Unified AI Chat

Previously, Deplyr’s AI chat worked one file at a time—which meant keeping track of changes across multiple files manually. Now, AI chat understands your entire app, making it easier to:

  • Implement changes that affect both the frontend and backend seamlessly.
  • Reduce back-and-forth and ensure AI-driven updates work across your entire app.

This means faster, smarter development with less friction.

3. Airtable Photo Uploading

You can now upload photos to Airtable directly via the API! This unlocks new possibilities for integrating images into your Deplyr apps, making it easier to:

  • Store and manage images in Airtable seamlessly.
  • Build more dynamic and interactive apps that rely on photos.

4. AI Module

Deplyr apps now have access to a built-in AI module, allowing you to:

  • Leverage LLMs (large language models) for advanced AI-powered features.
  • Use vision capabilities to analyze and process images.
